I want to restore an old backup and keep my current entries

Unfortunately, this is not possible for now. Daylio backup keeps the snapshot of the entries at the time of the backup. If you want to merge two different backups it is not possible.

If you have only a few entries restore the old backup and enter new entries manually. It is not convenient but probably worth it couple of minutes.
